In the prevention of ageing, modern medicine focuses precisely on the protection of fibroblasts and their support. In collaboration with laboratory tissue banks, fibroblasts have begun to be used in autologous rejuvenation techniques. The essence is the removal of a small skin graft under aseptic conditions.

In special laboratories, the tissue sample is cleaned, cultured and then, after 5 to 7 weeks, this solution with live cells is injected into the patient’s skin.

The application is particularly suitable for the face and décolleté, the lower eyelid area and the nasolabial area. It is performed under local anaesthesia. Three applications are usually recommended, with 5 to 7 weeks between treatments.
