The principle of lipofilling is the transplantation of the body’s own living fat cells from one part of the body to another. If we take fat from a part of the body, we disconnect it from its vascular supply, thus cutting off its supply of nutrients and oxygen. After the subsequent application of fat to another part of the body, it is necessary for the adipose tissue to re-establish its vascular supply, otherwise it would die. Therefore, it is necessary that the fat is injected with special needles in the form of small drops, which are able to secure nutrition from the surrounding tissue.

The application of own fat is mainly intended for the correction of soft tissues. The priority is the facial area.
