The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia as it involves suctioning fat in the deeper abdominal subcutaneous tissue, which is in close proximity to the muscles, which could be painful under local anaesthesia.

In the first stage we use a special laser LipoLife 3G, whose energy is used to stimulate the skin and subcutaneous tissue.

The probe emits laser energy in 360 degrees, thus acting on both the muscle and subcutaneous fat at the same time. On the one hand, it breaks it down, shrinks and adjusts it, and on the other hand, it irritates the skin, which in the next 2-3 months will increase the content of collagen and elastin fibers several times, increase elasticity and beautifully tighten. In diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles, the abdomen is bulging from the inside because it is not held by the abdominal wall. It arises as a result of too much internal pressure when the ligamentous connection between the right and left sides of the rectus abdominis muscle is weakened.

These are separated from each other and moved sideways to create a gap. Diastasis most often affects women after childbirth, but it can also occur in men and children. Genetics, incorrect posture with weakened abdominal muscles, inadequate exercise or a functional abdominal wall disorder may also be to blame.

The most suitable candidate for abdominoplasty is a woman or man who has a relatively good figure, but is unhappy with the amount of fat and loose abdominal skin, and diet and exercise are not working. Abdominoplasty surgery also partially resolves flattened rectus abdominis muscles or stretched skin in women after pregnancy. It is also possible to correct the loss of skin elasticity in elderly patients who struggle with mild overweight.

A patient who intends to radically reduce his weight should postpone surgery. Also, women who are planning a pregnancy in the future should wait.
